Seattle Trip

Vi and I recently rode to Seattle to visit my daughter and grand kids and to celebrate mine and my daughter, Angela’s birthdays. Ride up the Columbia

Last Saturday Via and I rode with our Columbia River Chapter of Spyder Riders of America to Mt. Hood, OR.  After a Club breakfast near the Portland Airport, we headed across the Columbia River into Washington and rode down Hwy 14  along the River.  The day was warm and beautiful with not a cloud in the sky.  Crossing back into Oregon at Hood River, our group of about 26 members… Continue reading

Day 47: Back Home!

Via and I rolled into Newberg Sunday afternoon, June 1st about 3:30pm. Very tired but in one piece and still speaking to each other. When I traded my 2011 RT in at SpyderFest, I forgot to note how far we had traveled. My guess is that the total trip was right about 9,000 miles, 47 days , at least 20 States (some multiple times) and who knows… Continue reading
