Q. Why a silly name like Seal FloorBoardsTM?
A. Just look at it! It looks like a Seal ~ sleek, graceful, strong and built for speed.


Q. How can I order my Seal FloorBoardsTM Kit?
A. Ordering is easy! Select the model you want and click on the “Buy Now” button to go to our PayPal checkout page. Once there, you can enter your zip code (or province if ordering from Canada) to determine shipping costs. You can expect your new Seal FloorBoardsTM Kit in two to three weeks.

Q. Is it strong enough to stand on? I’m a big guy.
A. The Seal FloorBoardsTM are constructed of 3/16″ acid/oil pickled steel. It’s meant to be used as a step-up for mounting your SPYDER. I have a 250 lb. friend who said it felt rock solid and made throwing his big leg over the seat a breeze.


Q. Can I stand on any part of it?
A. No, only the flat part of the Floorboard is meant to stand on. The forward, Neck and Head of the Seal are intended to stretch-out your feet and legs while sitting on the seat.


Q. There seems to be a little “flex” in the Neck and Head. What’s up with that?
A. The FloorBoard itself is not flexing, it’s the Foot peg assembly that has a little play in it. It’s normal, and the reason you shouldn’t stand on that part.


Q. How do I care for my FloorBoards?
A. Just use a damp cloth to wipe it down. I don’t recommend using wax or other cleaners that might make them slippery.


Q. Which is better, breaking with my heel or toe?
A. I prefer using my heel because I have set up my SPYDER to give me a more “cruiser” riding position and my feet are forward. Riders who prefer a more “sports” position may want to use their toe. It’s all up to what works best for you.


Q. Your shifting and braking methods are different than I’m used to.
A. Dude, everything about the CAN AM SPYDER is different from what your used to. It’s a whole new way of riding. Don’t worry, shifting and braking will make a ton of sense once you try it. It will feel very natural in just a few minutes.


Q. Will I have to alter my SPYDER in order to accommodate the FloorBoards?
A. All you will have to do is unscrew and remove the rubber pads on the break and foot pegs. You will also remove a screw on the shift lever to remove the factory shift lever. You will reuse the screw when you mount the new shift lever extension. It’s all very easy and explained in the “Installation Instructions”. It’s fully illustrated. There is no permanent alteration.
